PDF - Flash issues

I don't understand how to put .pdf files in publications.

HyperMaker 2001 uses an special <PANEL> tag to handle PDF and Flash files. Please open HyperMaker help (F1 key) click Find and search for Panel.

Local CGI Question

I would like to allow the user to modify an html document where he can store his favorite websites. Is this possible with Local CGI?

Yes.
Local CGI works using an external program. Thus you will need to make some kind of programming or have the help of a programmer. Click here to download a publication with more information about Local CGI (you need having HyperMaker 2000 or 2001 to open the publication). Note for Netscape users: to download this file right-click on the link and select Save Link as.

ASP with autoexecutables

I´m looking for a program to compile a web into a executable file.

ASP pages are generated dinamically by the website, so they cannot work on any off-line ebook.

Java Script support

It seems like your program does not support javascript...

HyperMaker does not support Java, JavaScript norActivex. Only ebook compilers based on Microsoft Internet Explorer support scripting. You cannot have a full stand-alone ebbok (not depending on MSIE) as are HyperMaker ebooks and scripting support.

Windows CE - Palm - Macintosh - Linux

Will ebooks compiled with your software run on handheld devices including those running Windows CE or the Palm OS or will them run on Macintosh or Linux OS?

Ebooks compiled with HyperMaker can only run on Windows 95 / 98 / 98 SE / ME / NT / 2000 or newer
